The falls into two halves, each played twice. Part 1 states the eight- opening strain in B major, which moves to a related at its end. The second half is twice as long: a passage leads away from the home , and the music then finds its way back, so that the last brings the opening material round again in B major. The marking asks for a steady, unhurried pulse all the way through.

Section boundaries in music are not always sharp; a transition may be felt over a pause or a held chord.
